Summonses
Cody A. Brown, 35, of Boothbay was issued a summons June 28 for Attaching False Plates on River Road in Boothbay by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Halie M. Wise, 28, of Jefferson was issued a summons June 29 for Operating a Vehicle without a License on Academy Hill Road in Newcastle by Deputy Owen Beattie.
Arrests
Holly Thibodeau, 51, of Waldoboro was arrested June 27 for Violating a Protective Order on Partridge Lane in Nobleboro by Deputy Jeffrey Rogers.
Jeremy Ware, 21, of Boothbay was arrested June 30 for Operating Under the Influence on Oak Street in Boothbay Harbor by Sgt. Kevin Dennison.
Accidents
On June 28 an accident occurred on East Pond Road in Nobleboro involving Jonathan P. Sawyer, 53, of Waldoboro. Mr. Sawyer was operating his 2011 GMC Sierra attempting to stop at the intersection with Upper East Pond Rd when he was unable to stop and went through the intersection and off the road. Deputy Ethan Burns was the investigating officer.
On June 29 an accident occurred on North Newcastle Road in Newcastle involving Lawrence E. Hooper, 66, of Jefferson. Mr. Hooper was operating his 2003 Chevrolet Astro Van Southwhen a deer entered the roadway and was struck. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
On June 29 an accident occurred on Patterson Road in Dresden involving Brianna Harriman, 19, of Augusta. Ms. Harriman was operating a 2006 Toyota Corolla east when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. Deputy Jerold Winslow was the investigating officer.
On June 30 an accident occurred on Middle Road in Dresden involving Matthew R. LeClerc, 23, of West Bath. Mr. LeClerc was operating his 2009 Suzuki GSK-R7 north when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. Deputy Owen Beattie was the investigating officer.
On July 1 an accident occurred on Cedar Grove Road in Dresden involving George Soucy, 71, of Pittston. Mr. Soucy was operating a 2021 Nissan Rogue southbound when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.
On July 1 an accident occurred on Alna Road in Alna involving Forest Hisler, 23, of Whitefield. Mr. Hisler was operating a 2021 Dodge 1500 when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. Sgt. Hayden was the investigating officer.
On July 2 an accident occurred on Route 17 in Whitefield involving Alane B. Dostie, 67, of Rockland and Aljacia J. James, 29, of Franklin, Louisiana. Ms. Dostie was operating a 2007 Ford Focus west, slowing to make a turn onto Mills Road, when Ms. James, who was operating a 2018 Infinity Q50, brakes failed and she collided with Ms. Dostie. Deputy Owen Beattie was the investigating officer.
On July 3 an accident occurred on Bunker Hill Road in Jefferson involving Chad S. Puckey, 24, of Damariscotta. Mr. Puckey was operating a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee southbound when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. Deputy Jeffrey Rogers was the investigating officer.
On July 3 an accident occurred on Biscay Road in Bremen involving Samuel E. Alper, 32, of Winchester, Massachusetts. Mr. Alper was operating his 2011 Volkswagen Golf south when he went off the road. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.
