Lincoln County Sheriff's Office: 2 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 225 calls for service for the period of April 1 and April 8. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 3,821 calls for service.
Summonses
Patrick Daniello, 42, of Thomaston was issued a summons April 1 for Attaching False Plates, on Main Street, Newcastle, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Heather E. Medeiros, 38, of Camden was issued a summons April 2 for Operating after License Suspension, on Main Street, Whitefield, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
Sumner C. Keith, 32, of Nobleboro was issued two summonses April 4 for Allowing Dog to be at Large, on Center Street, Nobleboro, by Animal Control Officer Allen Oliver.
Courtney Griffin, 26, of Waldoboro was issued a summons April 7 for Operating Vehicle without a License, on US Route 1, Damariscotta, by Sgt. Kevin Dennison.
Arrests
Zackery Moore, 27, of Halethorpe, Maryland was arrested April 1on a Gardiner Police Department warrant for Domestic Violence Aggravated Assault, on Southport Island, Southport, by Deputy Joseph Booth. Mr. Moore was transported and transferred to Gardiner Police custody.
Tiffanee E. Fraughton, 51, of Bremen was arrested April 5 on a Knox County warrant for Negotiating a Worthless Instrument and Forgery charges, on North Nobleboro Road, Waldoboro, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.
Accidents
On April 1, an accident occurred on Indian Road in Dresden involving Randy P. Lewis, 34, of Dresden. Mr. Lewis was operating his 2011 Ford Fusion westbound on Indian Road, approaching River Road, when he reported his brakes stopped working effectively. As a result, he was unable to stop at the intersection, going straight through and traveling off the road, coming to rest against a tree. Mr. Lewis’ vehicle suffered disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene. Deputy Nathaniel Aronson was the investigating officer.
On April 1, an accident occurred on Augusta Road in Jefferson involving Clayton H. Crommett, 71, of Weeks Mills. Mr. Crommett was operating his 2016 Toyota Tacoma southbound when he struck a deer that was in the roadway. The deer later ran off. Deputy Ethan Burns was the investigating officer.
On April 4, an accident occurred on Boothbay Road in Edgecomb involving Jacob Powers, 32, of Whitefield. Mr. Powers was operating his 2022 GMC Sierra northbound when he struck a deer in the roadway. Deputy Kasey Doyle was the investigating officer.
