Monica D. Browne
Monica Denise Browne, 70, of Hull, Massachusetts, formerly of the Boothbay region, passed away peacefully on the morning of April 1, 2025, with her two children, Brendan and Jessica Browne, by her side.
Monica was well known and often admired for her extremely active lifestyle, which included jogging, swimming, kayaking, biking, hiking, and anything else that challenged her body’s endurance. She also loved music, dogs, sunsets and her family.
In addition to her two children, she is also survived by a sister, Valerie Browne-Matherly, her niece Erin Browne, of Hull, Massachusetts, as well as her nephew Ian Browne of West Roxbury, Massachusetts.
Monica leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and perseverance.
A celebration of life will be held at 15 Primrose Street, Belfast, Maine on Saturday, April 19 from 1 to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, treat yourself for a hike, walk, bike, swim, or paddle in remembrance of Monica.
