Man charged in Edgecomb crash has July dispo hearing
A July 8 disposition hearing is set for the Boothbay man charged in regard to a Feb. 8 head-on collision on Route 27 in Edgecomb. Alexander Nielsen, 33, was charged with operating under the influence after his vehicle collided with another. Later, more charges were approved by the court: aggravated assault, Class B; aggravated OUI, Class C; reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, Class C; and driving to endanger, Class C.
The crash resulted in a Lifeflight helicopter being arranged to transport the victim in another vehicle, Christopher George, 30, of Pittston, acccording to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department investigation.
