Minister named Web curator
The Rev. Erika Hewitt, minister of the Midcoast Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, has been chosen as the new curator for the Unitarian Universalist Association's WorshipWeb.
In addition to her half-time ministry in Damariscotta, Hewitt is known by Unitarian Universalists through her Skinner House books, "Story, Song and Spirit" is a collection of sensory-rich multi-generational worship services, and "The Shared Pulpit" is a small-group guide for lay people to write and deliver their own sermons.
Hewitt has shaped her ministry at the Fellowship (MUUF) in Damariscotta around helping UU worship teams deepen their congregations' worship experience.
In her devotion to creating and sharing innovative worship resources, she looks forward to serving as the new curator of WorshipWeb (www.uua.org/worship).
