Morris Farm having busy fall
On Nov. 6, The Morris Farm held an earring workshop with Barbara Gage in the education center. We had a great turnout and had lots of fun! Each participant made three pairs of hanging earrings to take home with them.
Our basket weaving class with Maré LeMay Dec. 11 is full. It filled up right away due to the subject’s popularity.
We will be having more classes in the future, and those will be advertised on The Morris Farm website. Thanks to everyone who came for the earring class and made it a great weekend! In addition, we planted 500-600 garlic cloves on Sunday, Nov. 7. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time! Lastly, we planned to host a traditional Thanksgiving potluck on Nov. 8.
We accept donations for our Take-What-You-Need Farm Stand, and especially for our Thanksgiving Food Drive during the week of: Nov. 15-19. The farm is accepting non-perishable items including peanut butter, jelly, pasta, sauce, cereal and shelf-stable milk.
