New Ventures Maine offers Introduction to Self-Employment workshop
Do you have a business idea you want to put into action? New Ventures Maine (newventuresmaine.org) will offer a free introductory business planning workshop in Brunswick at University College, 12 Sewall Street, Orion Hall, Room 101 on Tuesday, Feb. 12 from 10 a.m. to noon.
This one session workshop will help you decide if self-employment is the right choice for you. The class covers the pros and cons of owning your own business, the steps needed for start-up, the major elements of a business plan, and the many resources available to help you succeed.
All entrepreneurs who are interested in starting a business are welcome in the class. Business owners who want a refresher on business planning, marketing, and financial cash flow planning are also welcome to attend.
