Olde Bristol Days announces parade and vintage car show Aug. 12
Olde Bristol Days announces a fun Saturday morning on Aug. 12 beginning at 10 a.m. The traditional Olde Bristol Days Parade and the OBD Williams-Fosset 10th anniversary Vintage Car Show are part of the traditional Olde Bristol Days Celebration to be held that weekend. It’s all about enjoyment for the entire family!
OBD’s iconic parade stages in the Harbor Room parking lot beginning at 9 a.m., commencing promptly at 10. Organizers invite creative floats and vehicles of all types to join the festivities. The popular “Bike Brigade” is also returning. While drive-ins are more than welcome on the 12th, it’s helpful for parade organizers to know that you are joining. For more information, please contact April Morrison at 504-2132 or on Facebook.
The Williams-Fossett Vintage Car Show immediately follows the parade at 10:30 a.m. at the Bristol Consolidated School on Bristol Road in Bristol. Starting as a small show 11 years ago (the pandemic canceled one year) the 2022 event attracted over 50 super-cool entries and crowds of families that enjoyed them. Organizers expect even more interest for the special tenth-anniversary show. To reserve your free spot(s) now, please contact Jeff Friedman at jftv1@verizon.net or 677-3707.
Olde Bristol Days encompasses a full schedule of family-friendly events throughout the weekend representing the very fabric of the community. More to be announced soon.
