Pasta making basics at FARMS Kitchen
Join us for a hands-on workshop on making homemade rustic pasta from freshly milled Maine Grain flours. Class participants will use simple tools and learn about different flours for making pasta such as whole grain, spelt, and heritage grain flours. The workshop concludes with a tasting of pastas made in the class.
This class will be held on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.at the FARMS Community Kitchen, Rising Tide Market, Damariscotta. The fee for the class is $30 per person. Children over 10 are welcome to join with an adult. It is offered with support from our partners at the Maine Grain Alliance. All proceeds will benefit FARMS’s educational programming for kids.
