Pemaquid Art Gallery welcomes new members, guest artists

Two new artist members and three guest artists have been chosen for Pemaquid Art Gallery’s upcoming season.
The new members are Dianne Dolan, a painter from Round Pond, and Liliana Thelander, also a painter, from Bristol.
The guest artists for the season are Mark Chesebro of New Harbor; and two from Damariscotta: Bernice Rosenthal and Marnie Sinclair.
This year’s exhibit will include quite a variety of works, including sculpture, ceramics, reliefs, and paintings in oils, pastels, watercolors, acrylics and gouache.
The Pemaquid Group of Artists comprises 27 members, all who live and work locally; members are elected by jury annually if there is space available. This year it will hold a raffle for two donated works.
The opening reception is scheduled for Sunday, June 7 from 5-6:30 p.m.
Pemaquid Art Gallery officially opens for the season on Monday, June 8, to be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The gallery is located at Lighthouse Park at Pemaquid Point, directly across from the lighthouse.
