PIE to benefit from bag program
Wiscasset Elementary School Partners In Education (PIE) has been picked to be the beneficiary of the Shaw’s Give Back Where it Counts Reusable Bag Program for November! PIE was selected by store leadership at Wiscasset Shaw’s, where PIE will receive a $1 donation every time the program’s $3 bags are purchased at this location during November, unless otherwise directed by the customer through the giving tag attached to the bag.
“PIE is excited to have been chosen for the November Giveback program! Every dollar counts, and we’ll be putting the money raised through the Wiscasset Shaw’s giveback toward the Swim Program Fund, which provides swim lessons to Wiscasset Elementary students at no cost to them.” said Annaliese Hart Incháurregui, PIE secretary. PIE is the Wiscasset Elementary School PTO, and supports WES through the aforementioned Swim Program, teacher stipends, free community events, and more.
