The Wiscasset Parks and Recreation Department will once again be hosting its annual ScarecrowFest on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Wiscasset Town Office parking lot and front lawn. Come and build your own scarecrow. We will have the hay, clothing plastic milk jug “heads," rope, stakes and other props to build your creation. Bring your own clothing to give your scarecrow its own personality. We will have some limited clothing items to share. Cost is $5 if you leave your scarecrow for us to display, or $10 if you want to take it home.

The event will also have pumpkin painting, face painting, a bounce house and a cookie decorating table. Wiscasset Sports Boosters will host a bake sale with apple cider. Mainely Burgers will be selling its signature burgers, hot dogs, fries and brussell sprouts!
