The Wiscasset School Department on Tuesday announced a School Committee budget workshop for 5 p.m. Thursday, April 20 at the central office, 225 Gardiner Road.

The committee did not originally plan to meet again over the budget prior to the anticipated April 27 committee vote. Responding to an email question Tuesday, Superintendent of Schools Heather Wilmot said no new developments or concerns had led to the workshop. “(It’s) just an opportunity for an additional review prior to the anticipated adoption on the 27th.”
