The Boothbay Region Garden Club will be hosting their annual Festival of Trees, Dec. 6, 7 and 8 at the Opera House, Boothbay Harbor.

Festival hours are: Dec. 6, noon to 5 p.m.; Dec. 7, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Dec. 8, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Festival includes the Silent Auction which closes at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8; the Theme Tree “Birds of A Feather”; five special Raffle items; and five gift shops. ETC offers a little bit of everything including Christmas items; Santa’s Sweet Shop is filled with delicious treats to eat immediately or take home; Mantle & Table will be offering glassware, dishes, art work and live arrangements for your table and mantle; and Nature’s Gifts sells edible birdhouses, handmade ornaments, trees, greeting cards, greens and more. Look for the Maine Reindeer new this year.

Garden Club members will be welcoming you to the Opera House where you can get your Silent Auction bid number and buy raffle tickets. On the stage will showcase Christmas trees filled with ornaments made by the children at the schools and the YMCA along with organizations that have created ornaments. These ornaments with lights and Christmas trees will be given to local deserving families to help celebrate the holidays.
