Sen. Johnson to hold community meetings
Moving Maine forward
Fri, 06/22/2012 - 9:30am
Sen. Chris Johnson (D-Lincoln County) will host two community forums on the changes to Maine law enacted during the recent legislative session.
The first will be at the Waldoboro Fire Station on Thursday, June 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. The second will be at the Town Hall in Wiscasset on Monday, July 2, from 6 to 8 p.m.
"Many important changes were made to our laws in Maine this past session, to such things as healthcare, drugs for the elderly, education, veteran's services and host of others," Johnson said. "I'd really like to encourage people to come and ask questions. This is a good opportunity for people to learn about those changes and share ideas for moving Maine forward."
