The following are the results from the recent grand jury report.  Information was provided by the District Attorney’s office. Defendants have not yet gone to trial nor been convicted of these charges.

Joseph Benner, 37, of Bristol, two charges of Unlawful Sexual Contact, Class B; three charges of Gross Sexual Assault, Class B; and three charges of Sexual Abuse of a Minor, Class C. Violations allegedly occurred between Dec. 30, 2014 and Oct. 29, 2016.

Daniel Barrows, 19, of Waldoboro, one charge of Burglary, Class C; one charge of Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer, Class C; one charge of Violation of Condition of Release, Class E. Violations allegedly occurred on Aug. 5.

David Burden, 43, of Augusta, one charge of Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer, Class C. Violation allegedly occurred July 18.

Alexandre Gorey, 26, of Edgecomb, one charge of Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer, Class C. Violation allegedly occurred July 18.

Michael Hutchins Sr., 43, of Somerville, two charges of Aggravated Cruelty to Animals, Class C. Violations allegedly occurred June 9.

Sandra Hutchins, 41, of Somerville, two charges of Aggravated Cruelty to Animals, Class C. Violations allegedly occurred June 9.

Erica Richards, 32, of Newcastle, one charge of Unlawful Possession of Scheduled Drugs, Class C. Violation allegedly occurred June 26.

Storm Peaslee, 28, of Whitefield, one charge of Violation of Sex Offender Registry, Class B. Violation allegedly occurred July 24.

Jonathan Tarr, 42, of Waldoboro, one charge of Violation of Conditions of Release, Class C. Violation allegedly occurred June 1.

Stony Blue Vega, 39, of Rockland, two charges of Receiving Stolen Property, Class C. Violations allegedly occurred June 12.

Leisa Sampson, 51, of Wiscasset, one charge of Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer, Class C. Violation allegedly occurred June 19.
