Lee Stoddard, owner of the Shell Museum on Hardwick Road, Boothbay, said that Channel 8’s Steve Minich and a videographer spent over two hours to do a feature on the museum, which will be broadcast tonight, July 9, at 4:55 p.m. during WMTW-TV’s early news broadcast.

Another broadcast of the feature will be during the Sunday morning, July 15 news broadcast between 6 and 6:30.

Stoddard said he has recently acquired Bridgton Academy’s large collection of shells.

“There are a lot of nice shells. I will try to get some of them on display this summer, with others put out during the fall,” said Stoddard.
