Sheriff's report
Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
On November 20, Deputy Chad Gilbert responded to a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle in the Edgecomb area. The complainant stated that several items were taken from her vehicle, however, she did not know exactly when or where they might have been taken. Further investigation if leads develop.
On November 20, Deputy Justin Drake responded to a residential alarm in the Boothbay area. Upon arrival to the residence, a window was found open, however, the suspect had fled the scene and the residence appeared undisturbed. Further investigation found another residence nearby had an open window, however, it did not seem entry was made. Further investigation to follow.
On November 21, Deputy Brian Collamore was dispatched to a report of theft of construction tools in the Bristol area. The complainant stated that sometime between 11/20/12, at approximately 5:00 pm and this date, someone(s) entered a construction trailer and stole numerous tools. Further investigation to follow.
On November 22, Deputy Scott Hayden responded to a report of a stolen vehicle from a business in the Newcastle area. The complainant stated that they believed the company vehicle was last driven on 11/20/12 and now is missing from the parking lot. The vehicle is described as a 2008 silver Chevy Malibu. The vehicle was located by Deputy Dennison on 11/24/12, as he responded to an abandoned vehicle complaint at another business in the Newcastle area. This vehicle was the one reported stolen a few days earlier.

November 20, Chad L. Burns, 43, of Friendship was issued two summonses, one for Operating After Suspension and one for Speeding 57 mph in a posted 35 mph zone, on Upper East Pond Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Brian Collamore.
November 26, Sarah R. Weaver, 34, of Nobleboro was issued a summons for Operating Under the Influence, on Vannah Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Kenneth Hatch.

November 23, Shirley L. Chamberlain, 67, of Boothbay Harbor was arrested for Failing to Stop for An Officer and Criminal Trespass, on Ocean Point Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Mark Bridgham.
November 23, Courtney Brown, 40, of Boothbay was arrested for Violating Condition of Release, on River Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Scott Hayden, who was assisted by Sgt. Daniel Sceviour.
Recent accidents
On November 20, an accident occurred on Enterprise Street in Boothbay involving Michelle R. French, 47, of Boothbay Harbor. Ms. French was operating her 2000 Ford F-150 eastbound approaching the end of the road. As Ms. French was proceeding forward, she did not see a 14 foot dump style, two axle, construction trailer obstructing the eastbound travel lane. The trailer, which was parked up against the curb, was parked with the rear of the trailer to the east. The trailer was black in color and was not marked with cones or a warning device. As a result, her vehicle struck the front of the trailer before coming to rest. Sgt. Daniel Sceviour was the investigating officer.
On November 20, an accident occurred on Main Road on Westport Island involving Nancy J. Dewall, 59, of Westport Island. Ms. Dewall was operating her 2006 Hyundai Sonata northbound when her vehicle struck a discarded television set which was in her lane, causing front end damage. Deputy Justin Drake was the investigating officer.
On November 20, an accident occurred don Route 1 in Newcastle involving Garet S. Adolphsen, 24, of Appleton. Mr. Adolphsen was operating his 1998 Honda Accord southbound when a deer entered the roadway and was struck, causing front end damage. Deputy Justin Drake was the investigating officer.
On November 22, an accident occurred on Rockland Road in Somerville involving Jessica Slauenwhite, 21, of Somerville. Ms. Slauenwhite was operating her 2000 Chevrolet Impala southbound when she encountered an icy stretch of roadway. This caused her to lose control of her vehicle and leave the roadway, striking a tree. Deputy Matthew Day was the investigating officer.
On November 26, an accident occurred on Vannah road in Nobleboro involving Sarah R. Weaver, 34, of Nobleboro. Ms. Weaver was operating her 2003 Ford Explorer eastbound when she lost control of her vehicle and travelled off the right hand side of the roadway. She then over corrected and the vehicle left the left side of the road, coming to rest in a small pond. Her vehicle was partially submerged. Deputy Kenneth Hatch was the investigating officer.
