Shirley Jameson
Shirley Jameson (née Kendall), born July 22, 1926 in Melrose, Massachusetts, passed from this life on June 27, 2018 at age 91 in Boothbay Harbor, her home of 30 years.

She is also survived by daughters Anne Wissler (Timothy), Ellen Tremblay (Mark), Judy Sykes (Timothy), and Susan Jameson (Frances Madden), and grandchildren Christopher Tremblay (Mary), Kendall Sykes, and Daniel Sykes.
Shirley's lifelong love affair with the violin began at age 9 and continued through many teachers, orchestras, chamber groups, and musical offerings in every church community that she served, as well as at St. Andrews Village where she lived for the last 7 years. She also trained as a dental hygienist at Forsyth Dental School, practicing for over 20 years before and after her most active family-raising years.
She gave years of support to St. Andrews Thrift Shop, the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library Used Book Store, Midcoast Chamber Orchestra, Southcoast Youth Orchestra, Lincoln Arts Chorale, and participated in Newagen Chamber Music Workshops for several seasons. In her boundless enthusiasm for the natural beauty of the Region, she loved trail walking, swimming in the cove, and celebrating family gatherings at the farmhouse.
