Community members gathered at Wiscasset Community Center on Wednesday, Feb. 28 for a spaghetti dinner and raffle in support of Willow Orr, a 10-year-old WES student recently diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder.
There were over 40 raffle items and about 200 dinners served. Attendees had the option to dine in or take their meals to go. Between dinner, raffles, donations and custom tee shirts and tumblers, the community raised $5,027 for Willow and her family.
Coordinators of the event would like to thank all the volunteers, who donated food, supplies, raffle items and their time to this event. Willows bend, they don’t break.
