A SPOOKtacular time was had by all!
The Boothbay Railway Village Museum wishes to thank our community for a SPOOKtacular day on Saturday. It is truly an honor to witness so many businesses, organizations, and individuals take time out of their busy lives to bring so much joy to hundreds of children! They not only showed up, but they gave it their all! From incredibly decorated trick or treat stations, to those who decorated themselves into zombies and gravediggers, and all other volunteers who made the event possible. And to our generous sponsor, Pier 1 Pizza & Pub. We live in the best community, and it's because of generous, thoughtful folks like these!
Every station was a winner! But People's Choice votes came in at: First Place: Nathan's Wellness Pharmacy & Apothecary, Second Place: Boothbay Region Elementary School, and tied for Third Place: Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens and Pier 1 Pizza & Pub!
The museum is now closed for the season. Iron Horse Antiques and General Store will remain open through the holiday season, and updated hours can be found on their Facebook page. The popular North Pole express kicks off on Saturday, Nov. 30 and runs Saturdays and Sundays though Dec. 15. Tickets are on sale now for museum members, and open to the public on Friday, Nov. 1. Tickets can be purchased online only at railwayvillage.org.
