Veggies to Table, a non-profit grow-to-donate farm in Newcastle, is happy to report that we have grown and donated 40,000+ pounds of organic produce since our beginnings in 2019 and are still going strong harvesting this season’s crops.

Our next event will be at the Damariscotta Pumpkinfest, where a lot will be going on at our table from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 8 and 9. You can find us on Theatre Street by the Lincoln Theatre with our merchandise and beautiful flowers (if the frost holds). Come meet us, chat food security in Maine and our mission to help end hunger. As 1 in 5 children and 1 in 7 adults go hungry daily, our goals are lofty.

To raise funds to feed even more hungry Mainers, we will be hosting a raffle at our table. Winners will be picked the evening of Oct. 9. Ticket prices will be: $5/1 chance, $10/ 3 chances and $20/7 chances of winning.

Grand Prize: a package of Veggies to Table merchandise including a locally made apron, a U.S. made cotton tote, a Veggies to Table mini-truck hat, organic locally made gardener’s soap, and a Veggies to Table notepad printed locally at the Lincoln County News. Value: $110

Sweepstakes

We are pleased to announce that our Sweepstakes, with a grand prize of a week in a Paris apartment, has ended and we have raised $63,517! These funds will be used to pay our team and maintain our farm so we can grow even more farm-fresh produce to help feed our community.

Volunteer on the farm

We can still use helping hands to harvest, plant garlic and tulips, dig and divide dahlias, break down the farm, and put it to sleep for winter. We can also use leaves, grass clippings, and chips to mulch the farm and protect our soil. Lastly, if you have a truck, and want to help us out, we have a few local tasks that require a truck.
