WACC’s annual dinner May 9 in Woolwich
Wiscasset Area Chamber of Commerce will proudly host its 13th Annual Dinner Celebration on May 9. The event will begin at 5 p.m. and will be held at The Montsweag Farm Restaurant in Woolwich.
Chamber members will host a celebratory evening slated with reputable guest speakers Walter Briggs and Deb Pooler. There will also be awards presented to outstanding community members. Those who attend will be encouraged to participate in the Chamber’s Silent Auction to raise money for the Wiscasset School Scholarship Fund. This year’s auction features stunning photography by artist Elizabeth Palmer and the proceeds of the fundraiser will go to a few selected senior students who demonstrate a desire to further their education.
The Chamber is known for promoting its businesses and advocating for its members’ growth and success. The dinner is an opportunity for Chamber members to connect with one another in a meaningful way while also honoring those who have made a positive impact within their community.
