A Waldoboro man is due in court next month on a criminal mischief charge, for allegedly pulling several wires down onto Eddy Road in Edgecomb while operating an excavator.
The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department summonsed Walter Brewer, 54, October 26, in connection with the October 19 incident, Sheriff's Lt. Rand Maker said.
Brewer is scheduled to appear in Wiscasset District Court at 8:30 a.m., December 26, Maker said.
Tony Casella, co-owner of the property where Brewer had been working, said at the time that Brewer had not had permission to use the excavator at the site.
