John Webster of Orne’s Candy Store, Boothbay Harbor recently received mail that looked suspicious (see photo).

“It was mailed to me with a return envelope,” said Webster.

Webster had his nephew, Areth Webster, check it out online and he discovered that this notice regarding the store’s website domain was a scam.

“I can't tell you where Areth looked but he searched online. And I have not heard of anyone else receiving it. It's a really well done, an imposing document. Just thought maybe the news of it should get out there because it is so well done,” said Webster.
