Get creative by registering for Watercolors for Beginner and Intermediate Students beginning Monday, Nov. 7 at Great Salt Bay School in Damariscotta. Class will run from 3:30 to 6 p.m. for six weeks.

This course is for beginners or those with little watercolor experience and has a little bit of something for everyone. Students will learn about color basics, still lives, landscapes, abstraction, as well as various techniques. Individual projects will be encouraged.

Instructor Debra L. Arter is a local artist who has been teaching art to adults for over twenty years. Her teaching style emphasizes fun in the process. The course fee is $94. A materials list will be provided upon registration.
