This week on LCTV
Lincoln County Television is proud to present another week of original programming for Midcoast residents and visitors on local channel 7 and LCTV.org.
On Wednesday, July 26 at 7 p.m., Join host Pat Cloutier for a new Wiscasset Chamber Chat with “Battle of the Boards” charcuterie challenge committee members Susan Robson and Sarah Gross. The event will be held Aug. 19 at the Maine Tasting Center from 5 to 8 p.m. More information is available at the Wiscasset Area Chamber of Commerce website.
The weekly Wuzzup new show airs Thursday, July 27 at 7 p.m. with hosts Larry Sidelinger and Bobby Whear sharing their take on this week’s Lincoln County News headlines.
Tune in Friday July 28 at 7 p.m. for a special Community Conversations with host Marva Nesbit and her guests from Healthy Lincoln County, Larissa Hannan, Director, and Will Matteson, Substance Use Prevention Coordinator. A new event called “716 Candles” is a series of free events taking place in Maine’s Lincoln County in late August 2023 to commemorate International Overdose Awareness Day. Then at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, LCTV presents a new Wiscasset Speedway Racing show with highlights from this past week’s races.
The specials start Saturday, July 29 at 7 p.m. with a half hour show of highlights and interviews from 2023 Lobster Boat Races in Boothbay Harbor.
That’s followed at 7:30 by the seventh episode of the Vintage Racers Roundtable. Join hosts Ken Minott and Pete Silva as they get together with many of Maine racing legends to trade a few stories and talk about their amazing careers.This one-hour episode features Maine Motorsports Hall of Famers Lomer Pelletier, Steve Clukey, and Carl Crowley.
Start your Sunday, July 30 evening with the final new LCTV “Bloomin’ Boothbay” special at 6:30 p.m., about the 2023 Windjammers Days celebrations.
The week’s new shows culminate Sunday evening at 7 with a one-hour special from the Damariscotta Historical Society. Join us as legendary town historian Calvin Dodge shares his knowledge and photos about the “First 100 Years of Damariscotta.”
The Lobster Boat Races and the Windjammer Days shows complete the “Bloomin’ Boothay” quartet of specials capturing the fun of Boothbay Harbor in the summer, along with the Claw Down and Fishin’ for Fashion shows that premiered last Sunday.
All four Specials can be found on LCTV.org and Lincoln County Television’s YouTube channel.
Lincoln County Television broadcasts on Spectrum/Tidewater 7 and LCTV.org as Lincoln County’s non-profit public access community television station and media center.
