“Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain” - (R; 1 hour, 59 minutes) - It’s not where you go. It’s what you leave behind …. Chef, writer, adventurer, provocateur: Anthony Bourdain lived his life unabashedly. ‘Roadrunner’ is an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at how an anonymous chef became a world-renowned cultural icon. Final screenings at 2 and 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25 and Thursday, Aug. 26.
Salt Bay Chamberfest 2021 Festival - The 2021 Festival concert series - advancing the vitality of chamber music by featuring standard chamber music literature as well as new and existing works of living composers performed by today’s finest musicians. “Ailey” - (PG-13; 1 hour, 22 minutes) - Alvin Ailey was a trailblazing pioneer who found salvation through dance. Ailey traces the full contours of this brilliant and enigmatic man whose search for the truth in movement resulted in enduring choreography that centers on the Black American experience with grace, strength, and unparalleled beauty. Told through Ailey’s own words and featuring evocative archival footage and interviews with those who intimately knew him, director Jamila Wignot weaves together a resonant biography of an elusive visionary. Playing Saturday, Aug. 28 at 7 p.m.; and at 2 and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 1 and Thursday, Sept. 2.

Lincoln County Community Theater, the resident theater company of the Lincoln Theater will hold auditions for its 2021-22 season on Tuesday, Aug. 31 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the theater.
