Sarah Wilde will be having a solo show representing all new work at the West Gallery at River Arts July 31 to Aug. 12, with an opening reception on Friday, Aug. 7, 5-7 p.m. This year's show includes her light filled sea and landscapes, but will also feature her new series "Tree Canopies."

Wilde graduated from the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C. After a short stint in Boston working in an art store, she moved to Maine where she taught art in local public schools for many years and later offered expressive dance classes in the Midcoast area.

Wilde has now turned her full attention to creating her own art. Painting in a bold and expressionistic style, Sarah continues to deepen her relationship with her natural surroundings. www.twosisterspaint.com
