Wiscasset High School students did extremely well at the SkillsUSA competition March 16-17 in Bangor. We had several students participating in various competitions. We are very proud of all of them.
Payton Blagdon - Cabinetmaking (second year competing)
Alton King - Carpentry
Elijah Pearson - Prepared Speech
Carolyn Potter - Criminal Justice
Connor Robertson - Automotive Maintenance
The following students won medals in their respective events:
Payton Blagdon - Gold medal in Cabinetmaking
Connor Robertson - Silver medal in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair
Alton King - Bronze in Carpentry
Payton Blagdon will be going to Nationals in June for taking home the gold medal in cabinetmaking. This is a great accomplishment and we are all very proud and wish him the best in June!
