On Thursday, June 6 at approximately 6 p.m., Daniel H. Lewis, 26, of Wiscasset was arrested without incident by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on Wawenock Road in Edgecomb, according to a LCSO press release.

Lewis was wanted on two warrants for several charges. These charges stemmed from two separate incidents in Wiscasset the first May 24, 2019 included: Eluding an officer, Failure to stop for a police officer, Driving to endanger, Criminal Speeding, Attaching false plates, Leaving the scene of a property damage accident and Refusing to submit to arrest. Also from this date was a separate warrant charging a probation violation. Also the charge of Refusing to submit to arrest on June 4, 2019.

Agencies assisting LCSO included the Maine Department of Corrections and the Maine State Police.
