Wiscasset police seek alleged gunman in Maxwell’s Market incident

Wiscasset Police Department reported around noon Friday, Nov. 27 on its Facebook page, that about 9:30 a.m., a male entered Maxwell’s Market on Gardiner Road and allegedly “brandished” a handgun and demanded cash.
The post stated the person was last seen running north on Gardiner Road. Police are asking anyone who was in the area this morning and may have seen anything related to the incident, to call the department at 882-8202.
