Wiscasset Police Department, Wiscasset Ambulance Service and the emergency medical dispatchers of Lincoln County 911 helped deliver a baby boy Dec 21.

At about 8:34 p.m., crews were called to a woman in labor at 216 Foye Road. The crews arrived and aided the woman through childbirth, with the baby boy being born at about 8:43 p.m. under a lit up Christmas tree.

Mom and baby appeared to be doing well and were transported to MidCoast Hospital in Brunswick.
