Due to a storm forcing the cancellation of Wiscasset selectmen’s Feb. 7 meeting, the board will meet Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. at the municipal building, town officials said.

Among the agenda items that had been listed for the Feb. 7 meeting were election of a vice chairman, the Waterfront Committee’s proposed revisions to the pier policy and application; Police Chief Jeff Lange’s request for officers to have statewide arrest authority; Parks and Recreation Director Todd Souza on developing a no-smoking ordinance for town-owned properties; and the Spirit of America award.

Kathrynne Wilhoite Photography was seeking a business license; and Donald Jones and Norma Gordon were seeking appointment to the Appearance of the Town Committee.

According to a listing included on the Feb. 7 agenda, the board will meet with department heads at 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, about capital projects.
