Come celebrate the 125th birthday of the only surviving steam locomotive from three of the five Maine two-foot common carrier railroads at the Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington Railway Museum's Annual Picnic this Saturday and Sunday, August 13 and 14. Birthday and restoration ceremonies will be held at Sheepscot Station from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Model T railcar rides will follow the regular scheduled steam trains. Handcar rides will be offered in the yard. Music will be supplied by Bitter Brew from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Picnic food will be available for purchase from 11 to 3 both days. Antique machinery and tractors will be on site both days.

Shop our yard sale both days, as well. Proceeds will benefit our archives fund.
