Julie Browne’s Edgecomb Eddy School sixth grade class learned May 25 about town history and why Memorial Day is celebrated. Selectmen Mike Smith and Ted Hugger hosted the event at the town hall and nearby cemetery. The students helped place flags on veterans’ graves.
