The Robert M. MacNamara Foundation has once again opened its “Little Free Library” on Westport Island. For the fifth year, residents and visitors are welcome to choose a book to enjoy and either return or pass along to someone else.
The library is stocked with current fiction and non-fiction titles. Books by Lisa Gardner, Dean Koontz, David Baldacci, Elin Hilderbrand, Michael Connelly, Lee Child, Harlan Coben, and James Patterson are among the offerings currently available. New books are added on a weekly basis.
The Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. Established in 1987, its mission is to support educational, charitable and scientific endeavors. The library is at the end of the Foundation’s driveway at 241 East Shore Road. It will be open daily through October.
