Sheila Ellis has been decorating the outside of her 77 Federal St., Wiscasset home about 15 years, for the holidays and seasons. The current display, red, white and blue for the Fourth of July and the parade that goes by the house each year, has something new, as always. This time, it's a flag with an eagle.
She is inside when she puts the decorations below the windows, she said.
Ellis said she likes to decorate the home for everyone to enjoy seeing, including the children who go to Wiscasset Elementary School next door and, with the current display, parade-goers.
A home opposite Ellis's also had a red, white and blue display ahead of the parade.
