Nancy B. Rix of Sarasota, Florida and formerly Boothbay, passed away Nov. 12, 2018 following a brief illness.

She was born on March 30, 1933 to Philip and Louise (Teel) Blake. Nancy worked in the Boothbay school system as cook for many years, along with several restaurants in Boothbay Harbor including The Rocktide Inn and Boothbay Country Club before moving permanently to Florida.

Nancy was predeceased by her parents, brothers Frank and Clayton Blake, and son Mark Andrews.

She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Greenleaf and husband Robert of Trevett, Maine and Linda Peck of Sarasota, Florida; a son, Larry Andrews and wife Debra of Boothbay; grandchildren Allan Greenleaf, Karen Salatino, Denise Berlin, Garrett Peters, Melissa Bloodworth, Ryan Andrews, Adam Andrews and Taylor Andrews; and seven great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held in spring of 2019.
