Three-car hit and run
One hospitalized, police seek driver who fled the scene of Wiscasset crash
One driver fled the scene of a three-car accident on Main Street in Wiscasset that sent one woman to the hospital.
Melissa Balducci, 29, of Brunswick, stopped to let a car out of Water Street on July 17 around 1 p.m. and was rear-ended by Sean Tremblay, 24, also of Brunswick. Tremblay was then rear-ended by another car.
According to Wiscasset Police Chief Troy Cline, the third vehicle fled the scene. A license plate number given to the police did not match the identification given by witnesses at the scene.
Balducci was taken by ambulance to a local hospital complaining of back pain.
