At about 6:30 p.m. Dec. 25, Devere Cudo, 31, of Farmingdale was arrested for OUI, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, and operator consuming alcohol on a public way, after a near head-on collision on Route 1 in Wiscasset, a Dec. 26 Wiscasset Police Department Facebook post said. It said Cudo was traveling south on Route 1 near Wiscasset House of Pizza when he allegedly crossed over the center line and sideswiped a vehicle driven by Cassandra Hansen, 27, of Boothbay.

Cudo continued south on Route 1, the post said. Officer Jonathan Barnes found Cudo at Lil’ Mart and conducted an accident investigation which led to Cudo’s arrest; Cudo was then taken to Two Bridges Regional Jail, the post said.
