June 26 update: Lincoln County records new COVID-19 case
AUGUSTA — The Maine CDC has updated its list, June 26, of COVID-19 cases in the state of Maine.
Today, there are 3,102 confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases across the state, including 2,758 confirmed cases and 344 probable cases.
Across the state, 2,542 people have recovered from COVID-19, while 103 people have died.
The number of people hospitalized, at some point during their illness, across the state stands at 344.
Looking at hospital COVID-19 data, there are currently 25 hospitalized, including 10 in critical care and seven on a ventilator.
Statewide, there are 135 available critical care beds out of 394 total, 251 available ventilators of 319 total, and 436 alternative ventilators.

Knox County continues to report 24 cases, 21 recoveries, three hospitalizations and one death. This data remains unchanged from yesterday’s update.
Waldo County, again, reports 55 cases, 41 recoveries, five hospitalizations and 14 deaths. This data remains unchanged from yesterday’s update.
Lincoln County is reporting 22 cases, 19 recoveries, two hospitalizations and no deaths. This data includes an increase of one COVID-19 case since yesterday’s update.
The below cases represents the number of full-time Maine residents who have been tested for COVID-19, according to the Maine CDC.
“Data are about individuals who claim residency in Maine regardless of what state they were tested in, or where they are currently living,” the Maine CDC says. “For example, an individual who claims residency in Maine but lives in Florida will appear in this data even if they were living in Florida at the time of illness. County listings are by residence of patient, not location of the hospital or testing location.”
Each morning, the Maine CDC updates its COVID-19 data on its website with the latest coronavirus numbers from across the state.
