First National Banks supports Action for Animals
First National Bank recently announced a $5,000 contribution to Action for Animals Maine to help the foundation bring awareness to their community mission.
Serving Lincoln County, Action for Animals Maine is a nonprofit organization which contributes financial aid to approved applicants to help pay for emergency procedures, hospitalization, medication or veterinary follow-up visits with the goal of extending the lives of pets in the community. Action for Animals Maine is funded by donations.
“Fundraising is essential to ensure that we are able to help as many pets as possible. To date we have helped twenty eight animals extend their lives. We have a long term goal to expand our services outside of Lincoln County, as there is a great need beyond our area,” stated Giselle Armstrong, Founder of Action for Animals Maine. “We are very thankful to First National Bank for being one of our main sponsors. With their help we have been able to reach so many more potential families and their pets.”
You can help support Action for Animals Maine by purchasing a bag of Muddy Paws from Coastal Maine Popcorn in Boothbay Harbor – a partnership and flavor made exclusively for the foundation. Action for Animals Maine is also developing a partnership with Footbridge Brewery.
