Emergency call ends in fatality
On Feb. 18, at approximately 7:31 p.m. Officer Doug Snyder responded to a report of an unresponsive male on Bradley Road, Boothbay Harbor, who was not breathing.
Snyder arrived on the scene at approximately 7:35 p.m. and attempted life-saving measures. He was joined very soon after at 7:37 p.m. by ambulance personnel who continued life-saving measures.
At approximately 8:08 p.m. the 47-year-old male was pronounced dead. Snyder and Chief Robert Hasch secured the scene to conduct an investigation.
At this time, the Medical Examiner’s office is conducting a review to determine the cause and manner of death.
