Garden Club of Wiscasset will have its next meeting at First Congregational Church, 28 High St. on Nov. 4. The flower design class at 11:30 a.m. will feature a Thanksgiving table arrangement emphasizing texture.

A brief business meeting at 12:30 p.m. will be followed by our program at 1 p.m. Melissa Culina will speak on “The Herbarium at Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens.” Culina is CMBG’s research botanist and curator of the herbarium. This herbarium was started in 2014 to document and preserve the diversity of plant life in Midcoast Maine and beyond.

This interesting program is open to the public at no charge. Masks are required.
