Dear Editor:

Edgecomb voters who want to educate themselves about the proposed budget for the 2023-2024 fiscal year should plan to attend the informational budget meeting with the Select Board, Budget Committee, and Department Heads on Tuesday, March 7, at 6:30 p.m.

Especially for those concerned about the “vacuum” of casting your votes via referendum voting, this is your opportunity to listen, discuss, and ask questions.

Edgecomb’s Select Board, Department Heads, and Budget Committee, many of them volunteers, are working tirelessly to collaborate and prioritize the many needs of various departments. Their goal is to present a prudent, fair, and well-balanced list of Warrant articles to the voters. Their efforts represent the best of small town government: people working together for the common good. 

We hope to see you on March 7, 6:30 p.m., at the Edgecomb Town Hall. Thank you.
