The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 179 calls for service for the period of Dec. 23 to Dec. 31. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 15,046 calls for service.
Summonses
Glenda A. Grant, 64, of Windsor was issued a summons Dec. 19 for Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked – OUI, on Main Street, Whitefield, by Deputy Nathaniel Aronson.
Frank Harnish, 79, of Newcastle was issued a summons Dec. 20 for Leaving Scene of Motor Vehicle Accident, on Main Street, Newcastle, by Deputy Joseph Booth.
Arrests
Chloe E. White, 23, of Westport Island was arrested Dec. 27 for Operating under the Influence, on East Pond Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Kasey Doyle.
Jake M. Wood, 49, of Jefferson was arrested Dec. 28 for Domestic Violence Assault and Unlawful Possession of Scheduled Drugs, on North Mountain Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Kasey Doyle, who was assisted by Sgt. Jonathan Colby.
Captain M. Noble, 18, of Thomaston was arrested Dec. 30 for Domestic Violence Terrorizing, on Turner Road, Bremen, by Deputy Mark Fortin.
Accidents
On Dec. 23, an accident occurred on North Newcastle Road in Newcastle involving James R. Wilkinson, 34, of Jefferson. Mr. Wilkinson was operating his 2012 Honda CR-V northbound when he stated he fell asleep. As a result, his vehicle went off the roadway on the right side, ran over brush before hitting some trees with the passenger side, causing disabling damage. Deputy Samuel Alexander was the investigating officer.
On Dec. 24, an accident occurred on Bristol Road in Bristol involving James V. Wallace, 34, of Round Pond. Mr. Wallace was operating his 2015 Subaru Crosstrek northbound when he veered to the right and struck a curved warning sign. Deputy Ethan Burns was the investigating officer.
On Dec. 24, an accident occurred on River Road in Boothbay involving Peter T. Lynch, 77, of Boothbay. Mr. Lynch was operating his 2004 Volvo 70 northbound when he began skidding on the icy road. Mr. Lynch attempted to correct, however, he crossed the centerline, struck a CMP pole and came to rest in a field. Deputy Mark Fortin was the investigating officer.
On Dec. 24, an accident occurred on Borland Hill Road in Nobleboro involving Drew Hunt, 18, of Newcastle. Mr. Hunt was operating his 2009 Dodge Challenger southbound on snowy/icy road conditions, when he lost control and went off the right and collided with a tree. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.
On Dec. 27, an accident occurred on Lewis Hill Road in Newcastle involving Karen M. Kostenbader, 59, of Newcastle. Ms. Kostenbader was operating her 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander northbound when a deer entered the roadway from the left side and was struck. Deputy Nathan Yeaton was the investigating officer.
On Dec. 28, an accident occurred on Gardiner Road in Dresden involving Vaughn A. Harlow, 44, of Norridgewock. Mr. Harlow was operating his 2010 Toyota Tacoma southbound when he struck a deer in the roadway. Deputy Kasey Doyle was the investigating officer.
