Spindrifters visit WES
After earning a water jug full of pom poms for demonstrating safe, respectful and responsible behavior, the students at Wiscasset Elementary School enjoyed an energetic and fun performance by the South Bristol School Spindrifters on Wednesday, March 22. Led by Jordan Farrin, the Spindrifters shared incredible tricks of jump-roping. The Spindrifters range from fourth to eighth graders and proudly take their show on the road to share how much fun people can have being physically active.
The Wiscasset students responded to several tricks with hearty rounds of applause and gasps as the Spindrifters combined several ropes in their routine. There were amazing displays of gymnastics and rhythm as well. WES students left the performance ready to try new tricks of their own as they participate in Jump Rope for Heart.
