This summer, Lyla Joyce from Edgecomb will join outstanding elementary school students from across the state to take part in a unique academic development experience, the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF): Pathways to STEM, taking place this summer at Bentley University in Massachusetts.

NYLF Pathways to STEM is one of the Envision by WorldStrides family of programs (www.envisionexperience.com) that enable students to explore their interests and experience learning beyond the classroom.

Lyla was nominated to attend the forum by her third grade teacher at Edgecomb Eddy School. In addition to her interests in Art, Math, and Engineering, Lyla is also passionate about gymnastics and tennis. With dreams of being an Architect and a leader, Lyla is looking forward to gaining the hands-on experience that the forum provides.
