Accidents

Aug. 16, Willhoite responded to an accident in a private parking lot on Bath Road. Pamela Remieres-Morin, 61, of Lewison was parked legally, with the vehicle  unoccupied. Lugo Casiano, 35, of Springfield, Massachusetts was backing out of a spot and struck the Remieres-Morin vehicle.

Aug. 19, Hatch responded to an accident on Gardiner Road. Julie A. Elwell, 64, of Bath was traveling northbound and stopped to turn left with two vehicles behind her. Ian R. Jones, 27, of Dresden attempted to pass all three vehicles on the left and struck Elwell.

Aug. 19, Hatch responded to an accident on Gardiner Road. Kea Krause, 40, of Falmouth was traveling northbound and stopped to turn left. Robert Saxton, 18, of Wiscasset was traveling northbound and failed to stop in time, striking Krause.

Aug. 21, Willhoite responded to an accident on Gardiner Road. Steven B. Thomas, 38, of Bristol was traveling southbound when a deer ran into the roadway.

Aug. 24, Farrell responded to an accident on Willow Lane. Matthew Pelletier, 38, of Wiscasset was traveling northbound and left the roadway.

Aug. 25, Hatch responded to an accident at the intersection of Old Bath Road and Bath Road. David Raponi, 55, of Freeport was traveling southbound on Bath Road. Russell Webster, 19, of Wiscasset was on Old Bath Road entering Bath Road and struck Raponi.
